A psychologist and Principal Practitioner member of the Association for Business Psychology, with over 18 years’ experience supporting organisations to make the right hiring decisions.

Ian is passionate about implementing best practice assessment, minimising bias and ensuring a positive candidate experience through accurate, in depth assessment of executives.

He has devised assessment and selection solutions for individuals across all levels in public and private sector organisations, nationally and internationally. Ian has experience in using job analysis techniques, devising and working with competency frameworks and psychometrics to develop effective assessment.

“I take great pride in showing clients the benefits of better assessment. One or two fairly straightforward changes in how you assess and select candidates can minimise risk of poor hiring decisions and the time and money costs associated with that.”

Away from the office Ian has a love of the sports. If not on the golf course, playing for his local veterans’ football team or out on his bike, Ian will probably be found trying to pass on his love of sports to his two young children.
